Is 63:16-17, 19; 64:2-7
In reading this i feel as if the questions i seek answers to are being asked. I also feld guilt when reading "behold, you are angry, and we are sinful; all of us have become like unclean men."
My thoughts then think, how are we ever clean and are we ever prepared for God. Or do we live the best we can and deal with our mistakes in pergatory.
How are we ever to meassure up?
I Cor 1:3-9
The quote "so that you are not lacking in aby spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation of our Lord," answers my concerns from the first reading.
Mk 13:33-37
This reading emphisizes my feelings from the first and second. We must be the best we can and comunicate with God the best I can in order to be prepared for Jesus' coming and for the gates of heaven.
Homily reflecion
In reviewing the idea "the Messiah is always yet to come." It strengthens my idea that all the major religous are okay. And all those who follow those teachings God will take care of, for there have been many Messiahs who brought people to God. they may just read a different book or say a different prayer.
